How to view user events from integrations

User events can be sourced from various data platforms, such as Mixpanel, Amplitude and Segment.io.

1. Verify the Integration Completion:

  • Navigate to the integration status page by clicking on Workspace name-> Integrations down in the left corner menu

  • Ensure the status shows as "Complete". The duration for completion may vary based on the platform and the volume of initial data being synced.

2. Test With a Temporary Score:

  • Create a new score to view the user events. This acts as a verification step, and you can delete the score afterward if not needed.

3. Choose the Right Object:

  • During the score creation, select the object that contains user events.

  • If unsure about which object to select:

    • Consult the person in charge of data integrations in your team.

    • Alternatively, set up scores for all displayed objects. Once set up, identify which of these objects contain the user events.

4. Filter by Recent Events:

  • Apply the "Most recent events" condition. This will display all events that have been synced and are ready for use in Breyta's modules.

πŸ”Œ Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Greyed Out "Most Recent Events": If this condition is not selectable, it could be due to:

    • Incorrect Object Selection: You might have chosen the wrong object. If events are located in a different object but you want them in your primary score, consider using the "Summarised condition".

    • Syncing Delays: Even if the status page indicates completion, there could be a delay or issue with the data sync. It's advisable to contact Breyta's support in such cases. They can assist if there's a potential mismatch in your data setup preventing events from being displayed.
